Katarina Lundh has been appointed as Business Development Director of Galena Pharma

Katarina Lundh will start in the position on 11.8.2025. She succeeds Atte Kukkonen, who will continue working with Galena Pharma as a member of board.



At Galena Pharma we are pleased to welcome Katarina to join our team as Business Development Director. Katarina, M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, brings extensive industry experience to support Galena Pharma’s international growth journey. She has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare industry in roles among R&D and project management. Most of her career, Katarina has worked at Johnson & Johnson where her latest position was Global R&D Director of Digestive Healthcare. Katarina will report to the CEO and she joins the management team of Galena.

Previous long-time CEO and former Business Development Director, Atte Kukkonen, takes a place in the board of Galena Pharma. This is a planned transition and in addition to board work, Atte will support Galena Pharma’s operations as an advisor in selected projects.
